Yes — Applied AI Academy was founded by a construction professional. We know what a RAMS pack involves, what CDM requires, what makes a good toolbox talk and why site reports are a pain. You won't spend any session time explaining what your job involves.
Our standard session is 90 minutes. For larger teams or if you want to cover a wider range of documents, we can extend to a half-day (3 hours). We'll recommend the best format once we know your team size and goals.
Yes. We can come to your site office, head office or any venue across Scotland and the wider UK. We can also deliver sessions virtually via Zoom or Teams — ideal for teams spread across multiple sites.
None at all. If someone can use a smartphone, they can use AI. We've trained everyone from site operatives to managing directors and start from absolute zero every time. By the end of the session everyone is producing real documents using AI.
AI produces excellent first drafts — structured correctly and covering all the right ground. Your competent person still reviews and signs off, as they always would. AI doesn't replace your judgment; it just does the initial writing so your expert can focus on the review.
Sessions work best with 5 to 30 people. Smaller groups get more hands-on time. For larger teams we'd recommend splitting into two sessions to keep it interactive.
